Mastoiditis

Mastoiditis generally results from an infection of the middle ear that moves into the mastoid bone area.
Children get mastoidits more often than adults.
To treat mastoiditis generally antibiotics are given. In some cases surgery will be performed so the mastoid can be drained, although, not common.

Laura, I would like to see images with your posts. Did you not post a pathology for the brain?

I tried to post an image but I could not get it to work. I have the image still saved. As far as the pathology for the brain I did not post one, honestly, time flew by and I forgot and when I remembered I needed to do that it was too late.
